A Story That Began With a Cat and a Dog

The story of Miaite begins with two very special family members — a gentle and intelligent cat named MiMi, and a loyal, affectionate dog named AiAi.

MiMi was the founder’s closest companion, offering warmth and comfort through countless cherished moments. One day, however, MiMi was suddenly diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) — a fatal disease that, at the time, had no approved cure. Despite visits to multiple veterinary hospitals, MiMi could not be saved.

Her passing brought immense sorrow, and since then, AiAi became withdrawn and depressed — quietly guarding the now-empty cat bed, refusing to play with even his favorite toys. The founder, heartbroken by this grief, made a vow:

“No more pets and families should have to endure such helplessness and despair.”

The Meaning Behind the Name: Mi · Ai · Te

To commemorate this cross-species bond of love, the brand Miaite was born. The name is a fusion of MiMi and AiAi, holding rich emotional and symbolic significance:

• Mi — Symbolizes MiMi the cat: soft, sensitive, and deeply connected.

• Ai — Represents AiAi the dog: loyal, protective, and emotionally bonded.

• Te — From Tech, reflecting our core belief in science and technology as the guardians of life and health.

Miaite is more than a name — it’s a tribute to life, and a continuation of love through science.
